About the Experience

What is the Color Vibe 5K? The Color Vibe 5K is a fun, untimed 3.1-mile color 5K that combines fitness, music, and celebration. Participants start the course wearing white and are showered with vibrant colored powder at designated color stations along the route. After crossing the finish line, the excitement continues with a lively post-race celebration featuring a DJ, epic color throws, and a festive atmosphere that's perfect for friends, families, and participants of all ages and abilities.
Why was the Milwaukee Color Vibe 5K canceled? We’re incredibly disappointed that we won’t be able to bring Color Vibe to Milwaukee this year. Registration was lower than anticipated, and after careful consideration, we made the difficult decision to cancel rather than move forward with an event that we didn’t feel would deliver the full, high-energy Color Vibe experience our participants signed up for.
We know this is disappointing, and it’s disappointing for our team too. We truly appreciate everyone who registered and supported the event.
Is the event canceled or just postponed? The Milwaukee Color Vibe 5K scheduled for September 5, 2026, has been canceled and will not be rescheduled at this time.
We hope to have the opportunity to bring Color Vibe back to the Milwaukee area in the future, but there is currently no replacement date scheduled.
Will I receive a refund? Yes. Ticket holders will receive a refund or a voucher for the canceled Milwaukee event.
Our ticketing partner, Fever, will be communicating directly with ticket purchasers regarding refund details and next steps. Please keep an eye on the email address associated with your ticket purchase.
When will I receive my refund? Fever is handling the refund process and will provide additional information regarding refund timing directly to ticket purchasers.

Why can't you hold the event with fewer people? Color Vibe is much more than simply completing a 5K. The experience includes color stations, music, color throws, entertainment, vendors, and the energy of participants celebrating together.
With registration below anticipated levels, we didn't feel we could deliver the full Color Vibe experience at the standard our participants deserve. Rather than move forward with an event that didn't live up to that experience, we made the difficult decision to cancel.
Will Color Vibe return to Milwaukee? We hope so! While we don't currently have another Milwaukee date scheduled, we truly appreciate the support we've received from the community and would love to have the opportunity to bring the full Color Vibe experience back in the future.
I'm really upset about the cancellation. We completely understand your disappointment, and our team shares it. We were genuinely excited to bring Color Vibe to Milwaukee and know participants were looking forward to race day.
The decision to cancel wasn't made lightly. Ultimately, we didn't want to move forward with an event that we felt wouldn't deliver the full Color Vibe experience our participants signed up for.
